About
Atıf Yaraç was born in Istanbul in 2001. He is currently pursuing his studies in the Department of Sculpture at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Marmara University. Through figurative sculpture, his practice explores the human body, movement, and transformation from a contemporary perspective.
In his works, the body is not merely a physical form but a narrative medium that carries memory, time, and experience. By bringing together marble, polyester, and various industrial materials, he aims to establish a dialogue between the traditional discipline of sculpture and contemporary production techniques. While embracing digital modeling and 3D printing as integral parts of his artistic process, he considers the relationship between materiality, texture, and physical presence to be one of the fundamental elements of his practice.
